THE TV FILMS
Since October,TNT has decided to pursue this excellent show,ie, the Pretender,which was doomed to disapear by NBC,at that time.

So,last year,two TV Films were shot in Toronto so that our dearest favourite heroes could still be alive…

The shooting of the second TV FILM took place in Toronto,from December 7th to 22nd,2000. 

The cast is the following one :
Michael T. Weiss as Jarod,  Andrea Parker as Miss Parker, Patrick Bauchau  as Sydney , Jon Gries as Broots , Jamie Denton as Mr. Lyle, Richard Marcus as Mr. Raynes, Harve Presnell as Mr Parker, Paul  Dillon  as Angelo

There are also new comers whose identity hasn’t been revealed yet.However, they are going to play characters who are among the main ones in the story, such as ADAMA (a member of the staff of the Triumverat),Ocee (a blind woman),a little girl,and three monks. 

This TV Film has been written by Long Mitchell and Craig W. Van Sickle-the famous creators of our dearest show- and has been directed by Fred K. Keller.

THE SYNOPSIS OF THE SECOND TV FILM (according to TNT site)

Jarod is looking for information about a curious symbol in a museum and its trace leads him to an island in Scotland where he goes.Meanwhile,Miss Parker discovers that the mysterious symbol is on the photo of their respective mothers.With Angelo’s help,she is also led to the mysterious island.
Over there, Jarod and Miss Parker meet eachother and will try to discover the secrets which haunted their pasts…

THE SPOILERS OF THE SECOND TV FILM

  •  Jarod and Parker are going to show to eachother their feelings AT LAST…but,take care !’Cause you are going to shout while seeing the scene.

  •  The identity of Miss Parker’s biological father will be revealed.This appears as the logical continuation of the first TV Film where it was confirmed that Mr. Parker was not her real father.And moreover,this revelation is going to help you in the understanding some of the family ties.

  •  A name will also be revealed…don’t expect me to tell you anything more about it.Mind the biblical references !

  •  Jarod will be about to find his mother. 

  •  There will be a thumbs traffic which is pretty funny.

  •  Unexpected information are going to be revealed in a « nice » scene with Jarod,Miss Parker,Mr. Lyle,Mr. Parker ,and Mr. Raynes.

  • And at the end,one of them will make the swallow dive in order to get rid of the biggest secret of the Center,which is in a box.Well,the one who is going to jump is not necessarily the one you are thinking of.

  •  At last,Jarod will know the reason why the Center cares for him so much. But, this won’t be revealed to the audience.This won’t matter if you know the origins of Jarod’s name-then,you are going to understand everything very quickly.

  • You are going to know the nature of the ties between Mr. Lyle and Mr Parker (I knew it ! ! !)

  •  A ghost will appear suddenly but he/she will neither be Catherine Parker,nor Mr Lyle,nor a known character.

  •  The origins of the Center will be revealed – all that I can say is that there is a story with eight skulls which occurred a very very long time ago.

THE SHOOTING OF THE FIRST TV FILM

The shooting of the first TV Film took place,from Otober 10th to November 1st,2000,in many places in the area of Toronto – among others the famous building of the Center,which does exit and is along the Ontario lake but is used as water reprocessing plant of the city.It must be underlined that the pilot episode of the Pretender had been shot in Toronto,five years before. 

The cast is the following one : Michael T. Weiss as Jarod , Andrea Parker as Miss Parker , Patrick Bauchau as Sydney, Jon Gries as Broots , Jamie Denton as Mr. Lyle , Richard Marcus as Mr. Raynes , Harve Presnell      as Mr Parker,  Tyler Christopher as Ethan
There are also new Canadian actors – who came and added the necessary spice to this new story – such as    Derwin Jordan as Agent Tracer , Cynthia Dale as Agent Zane , Yannick Besson  as Eddie , Peter Outerbirdge  as Alex.

 The TV Film has been written by Steven Long Mitchell and Craig W. Van Sickle,the famous creators of our dearest show.And it has been directed by Fred K. Keller who is used to directing the Pretender – since he has already directed a few episodes of the fourth previous seasons. 

THE SYNOPSIS OF THE FIRST TV FILM (according to TNT site)

 TNT’s first TV Film leads Jarod to a National Security Bureau and on the trace of the maddest killer called the Chameleon for his skills – he can become whoever he wants…

As he was afraid of a strong connexion between him,the Chameleon,and his last victim (a bureau agent) – Jarod embarks on an intense man-hunt which leads him to old places which look quite familiar to him.  

  At the Center,Broots and Sidney try to help Miss Parker who desesperatly tries to find anwers which are hidden in her recurrent nightmare and the whispers of her new innate sense.And to all that , are added the fright upon the disapearance of her father and,the strange acts of her brother Mr. Lyle.
However,a bond between Jarod – who is chasing the Chameleon – and Miss Parker – facing with the mysteries of the Center – arises from the past.  

The conclusion ,which appears as a climax,collapses Jarod and Miss Parker and their respective worlds,as well, because of a revelation that nobody would have ever imagined.
